I have to admit, while I absolutely adore the ideas presented in this chapter, I feel like it's disjointed somehow from the rest. It feels as though not only has Hermione's voice changed in this chapter, but her way of viewing things has as well.
Love the morning wake up at the end, but again, it feels disjointed. Is it meant as..flashforward from when she's talking with Harry? It's not entirely clear.
I hope I wasn't too harsh, I really do love this story that you're writing.

Did you base him on Mr. Collins, from Pride and Prejudice? Lovely story so far, I've only read the first chapter thus far, but I love it. Thank you for taking the time to write it, and share it with us. :)

I love getting to see the challenge between Hermione and Snape, it's amusing, and I can't wait to see how far that takes them.
The conversation between Harry and Hermione was very amusing as were Hermione's flashbacks.
My only wish would be to see Draco teasing Hermione a bit more, but that's just personal pref.
