I just finished SiT before reading this outtake, so havent reviewed the original yet. Your take on Tomione has set the bar for mee, i was completely captivated reading SiT! Tom Riddle is so mysterious and devious and cunning, the way he absolutely should be, nothing soft or innocent about him. You portray him so well, it's so fascinating/entertaining!
Anyway, every one of our fav. characters are so IC i just feel the need to applaud you. And Slughorn conspiring to encourage theeir 'relationship' was hilarious. Then, not only are your characters and their reaactions genuine, you also managed to turn the time-travelling cliche into something truly riveting and plot-twisting. (ive spent a few hours puzzling over Tom time-travelling all over the place and all its implications)
Anyway, superb job! please update soon!

I really enjoyed this chapter. It is great to be able to see what happened in the new timeline. It clarifies some things. I hope you continue writing these "outtakes." I would like to see how this Hermione continues to deal with Professor Riddle.

It's like looking into her alternate past, we get a little more back-story without forcing the main story to have a lot more explained. :)

After I read this chapter, I was like "Oh...". I mean, there was so much information in one chapter. Who knew that time could be so messed up!
I would like to add, ther is NO WAY a justice force could be called Death Eaters. That name screams "Evil! Kill! No mercy!". And now, people are lik " Oh, no, their name may sound that way, but they are good guys, really". That does not compute!
And...Hermione is stupid. I know, no eviul diary means no chamber of secrets, meaning Lockhart doesn't reveal everything before going in, but...Really? Hermione is still a fangirl after four years?("Even Lockhart hadn't mastered Legilimensy yet"...pfff) And she is taking divination?
Well at least she is still going for Tom. I am imagining his state of mind when she asked him to be her guide. I am shure he was doing mental cartwheels And to think that she answerd "Deal with it" in chapter 40.
Dueling class! Ron is getting owned! Ha! After reading that i was singing with joy! *What is he good for? -Absolutly nothing! Ron!*
And of course, he aproves Hermione. And Harry fought with him at the ministry. That is disturbing. That battle determined so much in the books! Well done, but disturbing.
