so that exploding potion of Longbottoms in chapter one has nothing AT ALL to do with the soul bonding coming about???

and i thought hermione wasnt allowed to see her parents at severus house yet and that she could only write them letters and they write letter back to her but yet it said that severus is taking hermione to see her parents at severus house even though she isnt allowed to do so!!!!! also does the ministery of magic know severus and hermione are soul mates???

so even if the accident didnt happen in potions they would have still be bonded when she turned 17 years old?? because hermione made out as if it was the potions fault!!!!

The War would change many things. People will die; it's War, that's what happens. He doubted he would survive. When the Dark Lord finds out that he is a spy for Albus Dumbledore he was sure he would be killed right there and then.

If he was killed, Hermione would be in danger of dying herself. He needed to find a way of breaking the connection. If it meant Hermione surviving the War then breaking the connection safely then it had to be done.

He knew if he went to Hermione and told her he was breaking the bond she would be devastated. He knew that. However keeping her safe and alive was his number one priority.
