Often I am less than enthused to read a chapter twice from each person's perspective, but you did it VERY well and the information was needed. I am very hopeful for this story, so please update again soon. Thank you, HG4eva

Sometimes I like a change of perspective. Especially when that pov is Severus'. I especially like it when an author gets the way he thinks right. Thank you for that.

>:-O What do you mean "if" you continue this story?!? You just can't leave me hanging on this cliff wondering who nearly beat him to death and why if 'everyone' seems to think he's dead.
You've done a wonderful job creating such an intriguing beginning to this story, please, PLEASE! do continue it.

Good Gods, woman, you've constructed quite the beginning here. I am curious to see how this will unfold. Your descriptions of his wounds and the pain inflicted upon healing are priceless. And the characterization of Hermione's overwhelming feelings are quite well penned. I do eagerly await the next bit.

Great first chapter, very interesting and well written. Hermione comes across as a very compassionate witch. I'm pretty sure John Smith is our, English, version of John Doe. Looking forward to more.
