Another great story!

Poor Lucius. It seems to be one of life's ironies that what he is so enamored of in Hermione (her forthright attitude, disinterest in playing games, and honesty), he finds completely lacking in himself and is proud of it. He has no compunction in lying to her about the removal of the vultures from his estate, yet is blind to the reason why she is willing to be a friend with benefits, but never appears to feel anything more than lust with him. It isn't apparent in the story if she is well aware of his self-serving nature or not, but after being with him for a year, it's very likely she knows exactly what his personality is like and ignores his duplicitous side for the excellent lover. If he pressed for a committed relationship with her, I suspect he would quickly discover that she required significant adjustments to his behavior before he would be acceptable as a mate. I don't know if he could change that much. Poor Lucius.

Yay, a fun romp with Lucius. It's nice to see him as a bit insecure in his feelings for once. I'm always happy to see a new story posted by you. :)
