I just wanted to let you know that I have never left a comment after finishing a fic, but in this case I really couldn't help myself. I think that this is the first fic I have ever read that I felt actually showed how Harry would have reacted to Draco pursuing him, and I have been readinh for over six years. I am not saying I don't enjoy when they just fall for each other but it was amazing to see how it would have gone down if J K herself would have gone that way with the plot. You are a brilliant writer and I'm off in search of new fics by you to read. Please please please always keep writing.

Hello! I discovered you over on ffnet (I'm The Shinigumi there) and love your stories (and am still behind a few chapters on Intoxicate the Sun, oops!). Just wanted to drop a line since I read this here and it was very enjoyable. You always write Harry and Draco in subtly different ways, reinventing them but keeping them in character, imagining changes for them that are realistic and intriguing. The concept of the wings being molded to Harry's magical core and the parts of him that resemble a phoenix is clever! Loved the story, sleeping now.

Wow, great story again! I really liked how Harry and Draco's relationship changes in all your stories. I usually like the maybe more romantic version found in many fanfics of them being together in a very committed relationship at once and forever, but I quite liked this more casual and uncertain version. Quite refreshing and still full of hope. Also, the ambiguous feelings caused by the wings in Harry and Draco were very well written and explained. And I will definitely come along for other stories of yours!

Aw I really enjoyed this last chapter! Perfect ending imho, neither a mushy romantic happily ever after nor a they-go-back-to-their-animosity and-they'll-never-see-each-other-again which I wouldn't have liked either :P but this compromise is great, cos that's what relationships are all about, trying to find a middle way. Loved how Draco wants Harry to say his name and how you described the very last scene in which they can't see anything that doesn't shine :) oh and great sex too :P
Thanks for the story, I was greatly entertained!

YAY. Harri chan has mostly accepted his wings... and Draco. I suppose it's lots easier when you have the option and they're not in the way all the time.
... is it just me or did this one seem to go bby really fast?
