very interesting beginning. Now to see them work it out AND get back at Ron for being a blabbermouth...

I'm...not sure that cutting out and vilifying virtually everyone Hermione knows other than Harry was necessary or wise. I don't think it's out of character for Ron to be enraged and want a divorce, MAYBE, but it IS very out of character for him to blab to the Prophet and make a total pariah out of her. To have that on top of her parents pretty much disowning her, means that Harry's the only one talking to her, and that makes their relationship weaker narratively. It seems less out of love or even lust, than it would pure desperation.

Having said all that, apart from Hermione getting an elf, the two leads are very well characterized and as long as they don't stray too far OOC, I think this will turn into a great story. I'm looking forward to see what happens.

This seems like a great start! A good reason the hate Ron, a believable beginning to the H/HR, and a nice reason for Harry to know what he's doing and Hermione not so much. I love it!

Well, it has potential.

But ugh, MUST they speak in the jargon already? Hermione isn't even in the scene, hasn't even had anyone dominate her yet, but already she's got a label for everything? This is what I hate about BDSM fiction. Try to let your character speak a little more organically instead of like they're recruiting for the 'lifestyle'. And Harry is so blase about the whole thing. Might have provided some drama if you had him slowly come to the realization that he likes to engage in that kind of sex after experimenting with his friend a bit.

And why is it that in every H/Hr pairing, it has to be established within the first handful of paragraphs that Hermione and Harry have always had a secret love for the other? People don't have to be in love with each other to start a sexual relationship. It's so overused and shows a lack of imagination. Where's the depth?

Don't really buy Ron's horror with her magazine collection, either, but you're entitled to that easy way out, I guess. But telling the Prophet in an interview all about her kinks? No fucking way.

I'll give your next chapter a shot and see what you do with this, but really, try to put a little effort into characterization. Otherwise you render the pair two dimensional.

I really like the beginning of this story...it's a great setup...can't wait to see more...personally i would rather have you post twice a month with shorter chapters than once a month with longer chapters...it's keeps up the interest and more familiar with the story :)

i am sorry i did not like your story at all. here is why, 1 you had hermone nover love ron she never like him, to she had know respect for him thanking he a moron. and she was not happy with him. so yes ron would be hurt by all that.

two if he was seeing pic of bodage. he would be upset but here why. they just had a war so when he people where hurt it was not fun it was real. so i could understand ron not understanding this.


i would have like this story a lot better if hermoine love ron, had respect for him. told him about what she wanted and for some reson he could not do it. ps ron has showed dom traits he stand up to hermone more then harry does. he does take charge at time. so he could easly be a dom.

have ron and homoine break up, she would be sad on like your story where she did not care, harry help her and over thime they slow play and fall in love. ron still there best friend. but to me this was just ron a jerk story.
