More like trial & error in the face of 'maturity', because he wasn't sure Draco would 'curse' him or not.

But, I like this beginning of a wonderful love story and the gift DEFINITELY was
exquisite. Perfect for a person who excels in Potions, thought it was a broom at first.

even if har might not like it. a gesture like that from the Golden Boy won't be ignored. har has power now, he just has to use it right nudge things in the direction he wants.
At least draco knows now that there's someone out there who sees and admires, even if no one else will.

It seems the hope has finally settled in. It can be painful at first, but with this at least Draco can see that it is do able. That change is possible and a time might come when all Slyths don't have to walk on egg shells. It helps that har is steadfast in living up to his promise.

I think it's cute how Draco finally finds the bush. It's like if it was summed up, "Oh holy crap, unforgivable curse, Harry Potter, Azkaban--THERE'S AN INGREDIENT!!!"

That was a huge mistake on Pansy's part. Hope Harry can help.

Talk about forgetting, had to beat my brain a bit to remember
this story. But, I like the direction it's going in..and the
idea of a mature sounding [...and powerful..] Harry.

I can so picture this scene happening after the war. Very well done and very true to the characters and their reactions.

Unexpected moments that hold so much meaning and promise. You are really great with those.
