I really like the idea of your story. Have you thought of maybe getting a beta? While your idea and story concepts are strong, it's kind of hard to understand who's talking, which hinders the flow of the story. I really do think it's a wonderful story, so please don't take my words as mean because they are not meant to be seen that way.

The concept is good. The execution is decent. Other than some spelling errors, and one canon issue, this seems like a good story. James was a chaser, not a seeker. But then, I've always felt that the best lies also hold some truth to them. What I'm saying is, is that the more accurate your story is, the more it feels like it belongs to the canon universe. I try to go for that when I write (not sure I'm always successful, but nobody's perfect; besides perfection is for those who are making money from their writing).

A good story thus far, though it needs a little cleanup on grammar and a little less 'rushing' through the story. The plot point about Petunia being under spells is a good one and I would like to see that expanded on in future chapters.

Interesting. So there were spells making petunia act like such a cow. Who cast em and why.
