I'm pretty sure this is the first review I've ever written on this site, but this is story is just too fantastic to not review it.
This is one of the best Harry Potter fanfics I have ever read; I've already read it through twice, and I only discovered it last week (I really should drag myself away from the computer and go finish repairing my car, but stories like this are just too addictive!). It is nice to see a family story that actually goes into detail about the baby/toddler years, and does it so realistically, rather than either skipping them altogether, or having the baby as some toy-like thing that can simply be forgotten about in stressful moments. The chapters about taking care of the kids while trying to do major exams definitely brought back memories for me; it was utter hell when I was doing my university final exams, and had to help my sister with a two year old and a nine month old at the same time. I can definitely say you got the emotions right for that bit!
It is one of the most original and realistic fics I have ever come across (well, as realistic as witches, wizards and half-dragon humans can be). You really build your world up well, to the point were I half expect Nasta and Max to pop up in other stories, or in the Harry Potter books.

One question I do have though, is about the drackens attending Hogwarts; do they all attend Hogwarts (or their nearest magic school), or do most of them get homeschooled or something? Because it seems like there should have been more drackens at Hogwarts if they were usually sent to school, but on the other hand, I can see many submissives being so overprotective that they don't let their children go away anywhere...

Awesome story, love it. But is it a mistake when in the secret society chapter Sanex is told to go find a Dracken submissive mate at a meeting? He's human but wants a submissive Dracken?

Thank you for this last update! While it is so sad, I am happy that Severus is finally at peace.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Suki. I understand this pain and I hope that you feel better soon.

I cant wait to read your next updates but am in no way hurrying you.

Thank you,

Emma

I'm so sorry for your lose, though a lot of people my see them as animals/pets, the truth is that when you have them for a long period of time, they become like your child, a part of your family, so when they go, if feels like a part of you went with them.

It's so bitter sweet that after so long without a whisper of Severus mentioned chapter 76 is dedicated to his dying breath. I really hope to read more.

I'm very sorry to hear about your cat. I had to put my dog down two years ago and I still love him just as much. I'm very invested in your story as I'm sure almost everyone who reads it is. This last chapter was very moving and actually made me cry. Severus Snape is one of my favorite character so for him to be dead is really sad for me. But it was very well written. I wish you the best of luck and all my sympathies in these next coming weeks.

OH wow. this story has made me laugh, cry, and get angry at the most unexpected times. they way you spin the story is enchanting and your attention to detail deserves some praise. i can by far stat that i will avidly be awaiting the next chapter to this story... though i had wished that Severus would have had his won special ending, i was not expecting that. above all though it is a wonderful tail of family and love that i cant wait to continue reading!

I just wanted to tell you I love this story and I am sorry for your loss. It is always hard to lose a member of your family and that is what our pets are to us. I can only say that though the loss hurts, as long as you remember the good times you had, they are always a part of you. To this day I remember the first pet I ever had and she passed over 25 years ago. I remember her with great love and always will. You are a great writer and I look forward to more of your work when you are recovered more from your loss. My heart goes out to you in your greif.

God, I feel terrible for Ashleigh. Given her past trauma it isn't surprising she's more interested in the babies, and lots of in-laws are that way even without some kind of trauma. Everyone seems to be really overreacting.
