Welp, finished with chapter 20 so far, and Max. Big Man, is Maxie. This is definitely hot. Max-on-Draco-on-Blaise-in-Harry. I'd pay a LOT of money to see that acted out. Never mind that Daniel Radcliffe is amazingly hot in real life. Never mind that I'd be willing to part with more than one bodily appendage to see it happen.
I really like this. At first it took getting used to, because hey, I'm not a fan of most !CreatureHarry..... but this rang true for me after about chapter 4. Once I settled the notion that Harry is still Harry and that you were keeping him at least somewhat within canon as far as his personality, I was quite happy. And I like that you've kept Ginny involved. She was always smarter and more loyal than the films let her be.
I do wonder about Hermione, because she's not one to keep quiet, either in the books or on film. She was always very forthright.... So perhaps I'm just hoping that Ron is the only one who acts a maggot. Of course, Ron is Ron, so he'll always act the maggot at first. That aside, I'm also going to keep reading until my eyes go square, the computer catches on fire, or until my power is cut. None of those should be happening in the imminent, or even distant, future, so here's to.... however many chapters there are. *goes back to reading and snacking on chocolate*
BTW, I love chocolate and chocolate fudge at least as much as Harry does in this story. I mainline baker's bars of bitter chocolate. As a side-effect, I smell like chocolate when I get really warm. CHOCOLATE. I couldn't live without it. If I could eat it without dying, I'd eat it with every meal, every day, for the rest of my life. If I could justify it to anyone other than myself, I'd live on it.

I really like that Snape opened up to Harry. I can't believe I missed that one! Regulus... God, it's almost canon. Like Snape/Remus, it's practically announced by the author herself.
Also, Max, he likes the hair-pulling does he? That's a bit naughty, but then Draco loves spanking, and that's like the flagship for the USS Kinky Fuckers.
And onward ho, for another two chapters.
And Good God, where do they get all the blood from? Yeah, yeah, magical natures, and magical core, and extended life-force. Oyveh!

Dear heavens, Ron sure does go whole-hog when he screws up, doesn't he? I hope that Harry gets to keep his baby. I always felt for Harry being alone through the books and movies. He didn't have a family, friends, and loyal confidantes, but not -quite- the same as brothers, sisters, parents... I just want Harry to have his child. He really deserves some lasting happiness.

I'm so sorry. That's the curse of a popular writer. It's forever being badgered by questions of "WHEN IS IT COMING? UPDATE NAOW PLZ THNX BAI....
But I'm really glad that you've carried this series so far. And I stopped breathing for a few seconds there, where the beginning of the chapter was the nightmare. I was totally sucked in there for about a paragraph. I even got stuffy and teary. Miscarriages are the worst. I think they're worse than death. Anywho, Reading on to chapter... 27. Yep, 27.
And reading the first paragraph of chapter 26 with the film score from Gladiator playing in the background... The sad bits, mind you, I really almost started crying.

Ch. 50
After reading the most recent update (Ch. 85, I think), I decided to go back and read from the beginning, just to refresh my memory. It's been really interesting to read past events with the knowledge of what is to come. Especially Ashleigh.

WHY are some of your readers such shitty, rag-eared, mangy, flea-infested, lousy, impatient, drooling, scum-sucking, back-biting, ankle-gnawing, nit-picking, jerks?
This last chapter was amazing. I don't get why they bitch about not getting enough updates. Personally, I much prefer to simply roll around on the floor of my room, whining to myself about why there isn't a new chapter. Writing is hard damned work, and some people apparently fail to get a clue.

OMG. I'm so happy right now! Harry's been protected, and Mrs. Weasley is just as kind and mothering as ever. I just can't picture her any other way. I've seen fanfics where Ginny is the bad-girl, and the snotty one, and I just can't see Mrs. Weasley ever joining in or encouraging such behavior. It's just too OOC for her.
And Harry's going to have to open up. Scary shit, opening up. I know. Opening up about bad shit? Even harder. I know that too. But it's SO MUCH BETTER once it's over and out and had a chance to heal.

Loved this chapter, but one note, it's tenter hooks, not tender hooks.
