I'm so glad that you've updated and this chapter is brilliant. Sure, I wasn't that fond of the intimacy between Remus and Tonks. I hope you don't mind but I actually skipped a lot of that part. I'm sorry. But other than that I love this chapter.
I was so happy to finally get to see how Harry reacted to almost killing Sanex. I've been wondering that for quite some time now. So I'm really happy that you had it in here. I'm glad that no one blames Harry for what happened. But out of curiosity, let's say that you had gone with the scaled bit chapter instead and let Harry kill Sanex - what would have happened then? I was trying to think of something, but it all ended with everyone dying...
I was also wondering if any of the newborns are Drackens? I don't remember if I actually read it or just wished I did.
I'm really looking forward to the next chapter.

I love this chapter! poor Braiden though! :( teething is rough, i would have suggested a frozen teething ring...thats what my mom used on us...or ice cubes...but since he is a dracken would that hurt him?

this was a really interesting chapter, specially because of Harry's tantrum. I really think he needed that, because even if he want to stay home to raise his children they will grown up and he will be bored without nothing to do in an empty house...

baby teething... it's horrible, scary and can be migraine inducing to everyone in the family, not a pretty sign

what freaked me out was when Harry and Hermoine started talking about Drackens out in the open all i kept thinking about was Reta Skeeter.

Great chapter as always. I have a general question that I've been thinking about for a while. I hope you haven't already answered this (I didn't see it mentioned in the author's notes).
After Harry almost lost 2 of the quints, Amelle stopped being a bitch because she had lost a chick and felt some sort of connection and sympathy for Harry. However, Amelle treats Ashleigh horribly even though Ashleigh actually lost a chick. Is this because Ashleigh also lost the ability to have more chicks? Amelle's Dracken perceives her as a threat because she believes Ashleighs Dracken (out of desperation for a chick) will steal someone else's chick?

I can't wait till Remi and Tonks have progeny too. they're really good together. (after all the yaoi lemons it's nice to see a het one in there too.)

aw, teething baby's must be so hard for parents deal with. No parent worth calling themselves that enjoys seeing their kids suffering. I'm very glad har has an assortment of grandparents experience to draw from. It would make it much harder without them.

poor sev though, i hope he recovers enough to learn to enjoy life again. nasta's pa has but then Ani had three children from his beloved before she died. Sev will have it much harder but i think knowing that there are people who love him and would miss him if he were gone would help.

As to the heat probs, it wouldn't surprise me at all if in the future, mio was responsible for helping drackens to have a bit more control of their breeding. probably something around being able to induce a dry heat rather than a fertile one. I imagine that most drackens won't care but in sitches like har where his body is small and needs a rest or that woman who went killed her kids such a thing would be welcomed. I imagine its use would be heavily regulated like the chick dissolver potion since dracken families are encouraged to breed.

i'm glad they convinced har to stick with his studies too. Leaving yourself many options is never a bad thing.

I had thought that Tonks had known about them being drackens because she was there when they came home from the hospital and drackens were mentioned because of the artical saying that they couldn't have survived. Did I miss her leaving or misread it?
