Nope, perfectly justifiable. After all, vamps aren't known aas empathic creatures and for one who's never had a childe before to have had that childe attacked. I would think it would bring out every protective and / or vengeful instinct a vampire sire would have. Then you've got their previous history tossed into the mix. I'd say snape was pretty restrained all things considered.
I'm glad Harry has Nev on side. When things go pair shaped with Ron as I'm getting the feeling they will, he's going to need it. Not sure which side of the supp[ort fence Ginny is going to land on though.

This is one of the best Harry/Severus stories I've read (and I've read quite a few.)
I love how detailed it is and the way you describe Severus as a vampire, I like the idea that they aren't actually dark creatures.
I can't wait to find out what Severus did to Nott. Even with your clues as to what the latin words mean I'm still at a loss. But whatever he did, Nott definitely deserved it.
I hope Harry won't be so fearful once he has to get back to his normal routine, now that Nott will be gone anyway. Though I would love to see a protective Severus.
This new development with Ron worries me. I know Ron is just worried about his friend but with the dark thoughts he has been having and the weird obsession he has gotten over Harry, doesn't look good for Harry and Severus. I would hope that Ron at some point accepts what has happened to his friend but for some reason I feel like that won't be happening, not anytime soon at least.
I'm excited for when you bring Draco into the story, it seems like he could really use a friend.

Well, all I can say is, wow! Though I do have a fascination with vampires, I don't normally read fanfiction Harry Potter vampire stories. After reading the reviews here, however, I became intrigued and decided to give it a shot. I must say that I'm glad I did. I am really enjoying this story, and I found myself tearing up whilst reading what Harry suffered at the hands of the Dursleys and his reaction to the thought of becoming a submissive again. I do hope you'll give me a glimpse in upcoming chapters of Snape's reaction when Harry explains why he acted as he did the night Severus spoke of the Dominant/Submissive aspect of their relationship. I suspect that the Dursleys are going to be in great trouble, lol.

What happened to Mio. Is she dead or with her parents. I really hope Ron doesn't blame Harry (though it's looking like it;s heading that way) None of this was his fault.

This story is brilliant. I love it. The fact that you explain everything so clearly is very good, and I do love that you have such long chapters. I can't wait to see what happens when Harry gets re-introduced to the outside world.

ch.#6) Okay, Nott is so off his rock,wow. Ron is a bit screwed in the head too, I guess this is what happens when children are thrown head first into war, to bad no one thought of counceling. Wonder what Sev has done? I was so affraid Nott would do something to Draco and others in his madness, I'm sure Sev has come up with an acceptible punishment. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, update SOON *o*
