The writing itself is well done but Hermione's response is not just OOC, it is patently inconceivable that any woman would respond that way. To even imply Hermione would've been remotely turned on emotionally while being raped is ridiculous and psychologically damaging. Anyone who is raped may respond physically but that in no way implies consent or enjoyment. Stimulate a penis and it will get erect because blood flows to the area. Stimulate a vagina, even when a woman is emotionally terrified, and blood will flow to the area causing lubrication but not enjoyment or pleasure. It's a physical response like bleeding when cut. A young woman in this situation would be terrified and traumatized (and she would've experienced searing pain, not surprise, at being violently violated, especially if she is a virgin --,though you didn't really specify, just intimated.)
You could have written an accurate response and kept to the plot, instead you implied women enjoy being raped. I know this is fiction but I see this over and over again, particularly on this site. Young males read these stories too. I have to wonder if it's why so many women reported sexual harassment and assault during the Me Too movement and why so many men think sexual assault isn't all that bad. Most alarmingly, many police won't investigate reported assault. It's rarely prosecuted, rarely leads to conviction and when it does, many judges refuse to treat it as a real crime; handing out probation, while sentencing shoplifters to 5 years in prison or the possession of marijuana with even harsher sentences. It's been about 10 years since this story was written and I have to wonder if stories like this from females (or at least feminine screen names) are contributing to the life changing savaging women are experiencing more and more. Please be more responsible with what you put out there.
The story is just amazing and the relationship intense with some scandalous excitment.
Thank You!
I hope you make more additions to the Potter fiction.
