First of all, I LOVE this story. There's nothing wrong with your writing (other than some minor - VERY minor - technicalities). It suits the story very well. You've brought a completely new and unique dilemma to Harry's life that I have not seen before - very difficult to do! Kudos! The amount of detail in your presentation of his potion-ingredient hunting is extraordinary and admirable. I'm really liking this, and I certainly hope that you continue with it. Even if you don't... it's been inspirational, and I've learned from your story AND your writing style.

I have read and reread the last several chapters. Please continue this story. I love this pair - Severus & Harry. Can't stand creepy Allan!! Please get them started toward each other. Harry is in such pain and Severus just can't seem to even try to know him or listen to him...so cold to him after all Harry has tried to do. The last chapter seemed to show a frustrated Snape (is he a cutter?) So maybe he cares a little for Harry not just frustration over not finding something to help.

I thought the chapter where Harry was searching for a rare ingredient was pretty cool. There will always be naysayers and there will always be dreamers. You do this for fun, si ignore the flames. :)

I found your story a few weeks back and truly enjoyed what I read. It is true that it feels as though the coldness issue has fallen a bit into the background of the story, however, it's understandable when your trying to build more of a saga than a one time shot. Your writing is extremely well done and your choice of pacing throughout the story is marvelous. I know the struggle to keep updating a story, especially one that you have been working on for a long time. Keep at it, once you start to feel some writer's block usually stepping away for ten minutes and doing something else helps. I look forward to your next installment!

I'm sooo glad you are still working on this story. Not crazy about that spider chapter. Love Severus and Harry together so I wish you would have them interacting more. All Harry sees is Severus' pure hatred with no let up and Severus sees a dufus child that can't seem to have a brain enough to complete a sentence or talk to him then blasts him in front of students.
I thought maybe catching Blackwater attacking Harry would get things going but noooo then discovering the icyness but now Sev isn't letting Harry know he knows or cares or is working on it!!! Geezz! Years of this...it's a wonder they don't each give up and move on. Neither one has any reason or clue that the other even remotely likes much less cares or heaven forbid loves! And what about that Nurse Nora that visited Sev? I kinda thought she had something to do with Harry's "cool" problem. Don't stop now...keep going please.

Re-read the story. Really liked it till the last chapter. It seemed like it was from a different story somehow. Neither Snape nor that awful Alan boy was even mentioned nor Harry's frozen hand & arm. I hope very much that you will finish the story. Love Snape & Harry together and need to know why that Nora at the begining of the story had a wicked look in her eye, find out what caused the frozen arm and hand, and I want to see that horrible Alan brat get put down once & for all please.

I hope another chapter will come soon as I really like this story. I'm always fascinated by the dynamics authors put between Severus & Harry. Besides I want them to realize how much they misunderstand each other & love/need each other.

I can tell you what missed in this chapter: no Snarry *lol*!
Seriously, what missed was that there was no mention of Hogwarts, what Harr'y magic is doing to him, and no mention of Snape.
It seemed completely deconnected from the story itself, like a one-shot, except for the fact he's collecting potion ingredients.

Otherwise, I love your wrighting style! Great flow to the story (sadly, except for this chapter) and a great plot!!! LOVE IT! *winks**thumbs up*

I REALLY want to know what happens next! *wails*

I'm confused.... Is this last chapter part of the same story, or are there chapters missing? Your story jumped from Snape and Harry in the kitchen to Harry being attacked in what I assume is the forbidden forrest with no explanation. Confusion aside, the story is very good.
