I like your portrail of the children, maybe it's the bigger words that are worrying everyone but if the people kids are raised with use larger vocabulary then the kids will as well and Snape oviously uses large words. I really hope you keep up the story.

Please forgive my spelling.

I just wanted to say that I am enjoying this story and also that I agree with you that children behave and talk the way they are expected to do. If a person expects them to talk in baby talk and incomplete sentences then that is what they will do (no matter the age) however if one expects them to talk with full sentences and pronouncing words correctly then they will. My niece at 5 years old, according to her teacher, had the vocabulary of most third graders. We never spoke down to her, never did baby talk, and when she asked what something was we were very specific (IE: saying a bank or funeral home instead of just a building).

I also liked how you described how Harry was when Severus left. After having his parents leave, his aunt and uncle abandon him, having Severus leave too would have been very hard on him. I can't wait to see what happens next :)

Good idea... :) Bad execution on the part of the children. :( i'm guessing you've never had or been around children much. If you had you would know 4 and 5 year olds do not talk in complete sentences, nor with precise articulation. They, also, do not know words like amiable, toting, and the like. Also, children of that age have no idea what logic is, let alone how to use it. It's fine for them to talk that way-just make them the right age to be able to talk that way and use logic. Otherwise you really need to change the way you write about Draco and Harry because it just isn't believable and takes away from the cuteness of 4 and 5 year olds.nAlso, children that age are not going to be perfect, meaning they're going to throw tantrums, cry, and play. It's not healthy or conducive to a child's mental and physical growth not to play and go through the normal stages a child goes through, regardless of Lucius ruling his son with an iron cane. i like the idea you have for this story and enjoy the dry, sarcastic humor in it. :) i hope to read more soon! :D

Its so nice to see Snape characterized as someone more caring. I'm looking forward to reading more chappies, so keep up the good work.
