Thank you for some great answers, but I'm sure there's a lot more to it. Poor Harry is so traumatized, as anyone would, having been put in that situation. Why he's not insane is probably why Draco is showing so much respect for Harry now. I do think it'll take awhile for Harry to trust Draco though. But I can see how he will eventually. I also have a feeling that Narcissa is going to play a big part in Harry's 'recovery'. At least I hope so. She's so smart and savvy.

you know i resisted reading this first cause let's face it there are a lot of forced bond stories out there. Some are good but most are nowhere near that. But i was bored and couldn't find another story to read and i thought hey lom is an awesome writer so even if the premise is common the way she goes about it will be good. I was so right. And i love the way it's unfolding. i wish it was going faster, the updates not the plot, but i'm greedy and needy that way :-)

About Ch 8:
Thank you for updating this so fast and with so excellent a chapter. Did the platinum glowing at the end mean that Draco was saving Harry's life in turn? Decay magic sounds like a very nasty business. It also sounds like, no matter how much Harry thinks he has it under control, it's still taking little pieces of him each time it attacks. I am very interested to actually see the marriage bond changing like we did in this chapter. Is the Healer Draco called a private family Healer or something of the like? As much as Harry might need the expertise I can't see him appreciating anyone besides the Malfoys viewing his recovery. The fact that I can already quite easily see him accepting, with however much fuss, the help of the Malfoys makes me feel like we're definitely moving forward already.

I am still trying to see your point. Draco is such an unlikable person is this one, just a narcissistic, sadistic waste of magical talent. Badgering Harry on the stairs, shaking him for crying out loud, when he was barely conscious, AFTER he had saved his worthless life. All I can hope is that you have something really special planned, nothing short of a miracle is going to be acceptable if Harry is truly supposed to love and care for Draco in any sort of a believable way. I am not saying you can't pull it off, but the way is steep and treacherous indeed right now.
Why would you want us to be hoping that both Lucius and Draco end up in Azkaban?

wow< Harry's messed up. Is Luc sure he wants to keep him around, now they know he's like a walking bomb when he's triggered. Might be more trouble than its worth.

Wow! Continue please!! I love your story! So many things are going on but rather than confusing the story they nicely contrast with one another.
The mystery of what is happening/happened to Harry adds to the story also and i can't wait for you to continue! Please update super soon! :D

Yeah, we're about to know about the scars on his back! Since the beginning of this story, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing... Normally, your Harrys fit one of two categories or both: a) really, really powerfull and/or with a special ability b) cursed with something really, really bad
I was wondering which one it might be in this story and it seems like it's going to be both! And to tell the truth, those stories are my favourite ones^^
I like the way you describe Ginny's robes or hair (or rather, the way Harry sees them), but I noticed that his descriptions are almost always based on the outer appearance... Perhaps Draco was correct and he really only wants a mother for his children who has the added benefit of being beautiful enough to turn him on... Wouldn't be really nice for Ginny, though. But with her behaving so cooly, I'm not sure I like her, anyway...
