glad Narcissa got Draco to realise that. And Draco's approach, truely slytherin.

about #17...
1. One last thing about Harry & Ginny, from an 'outsider-looking-in'
view point, their 'relationship' seems more congenial & platonic
to me, it almost feels like a pureblooded arrangement, where two
people will wind up marrying for convenience and not for that intense
passionate love people talk about.
2. Ron is so bloody annoying I can't even count the ways...
3. Thank goodness for Draco's mother, to help him see reason.
4. Is Harry going to have the misfortune of running into whomever
those people were who took him...and is it possible those scars on
Harry's back can be somewhat healed IF Harry will let someone look
at them?

I liked this episode I think Draco has feelings for Harry may be that catches your attention but is very stubborn and denies it.

rejected! hm.....i should have realized that while accepting the marriage seems logical, harry isn't the type to accept anything without exhausting all the alternative possibilities....and even then. pretty stubborn guy but i enjoyed reading his perspective on how he wants to marry for love and to actually maintain a loyal relationship with that person. its sweet.
wonder if draco will back off and just take harry's offer to help him choose another fiance or will he take the rejection as a challenge?
well, im excited to read the next chapter and to see how the importance of the crime scene will pop up again.

wow, radically different world views much. Poor Draco. What Harry wants is so simple, so normal for him and apparently so far out of Draco's world view that he can't get his mind around it... maybe he forgot the whole 'raised by muggles' thing. Harry is going to carry their predudices like it or not. I wonder what Draco will do now and I hope he realises that Harry's rejection wasn't entirely personal. I think Harry would struggle no matter who he was tied too... though possibly not as much with a woman but he would struggle 'cause it wasn't a love match.
It'll be intreresting to see how the whole oc for Harry thing comes into play.

about #16...
1. Hmmm, seems like Draco wants it all, BUT he
is not hearing Harry and to think I thought he
was smart.
2. Okay, to answer your question about Ginny &
Astoria, as best as I can: a. Of course, some of
the readers here are against Astoria, because you
cast her in such an unflattering light as STUCK UP
and completely selfish..something Draco needs to
remember when trying to see where Harry is coming
from. So, it should be understandable if folks
want to give her the 'raspberry'. Besides, in
the books, we didn't realize she existed until the
end, so we don't have much to go on when it comes
to her.
b. As for Ginny, from MY pov...the pairing of
Harry with Ginny was SO cliche from JK Rowling,
that I knew it was coming BEFORE it happened.
It was like she said...'Okay, I'll pair Ron with
Hermione & give Ginny to Harry.' *sigh*
I NEVER saw the appeal in such a pairing between
Ron & Hermione, esp. with Ron being such a
hot-headed, easy to rile up individual. Hell,
it only came about because the pair were around
each other for so MANY years that I wonder if
Hermione wasn't such a bookworm trailing after
Harry & Ron, WOULD she have fixated on Ron and
not found some type of attraction in someone
else who understood where she was coming from
MOST of the time.
I always felt Harry & Hermione had MORE of a
rapport AND Harry was more intelligent than the
impression JK Rowling was trying to get the readers
to see, I mean the child was constantly having to
survive one threat after another until his teenage
years, now if THAT doesn't give you some type of
adult perspective at an early age, I wouldn't know
what else to tell you.
As for Ginny, she never deserved to be in ANY
spotlight [I think JK based the character on her].
Her crush...her hero-worship...her fixation on Harry
should have died by the time she got into her fourth
year. The fact Harry only NOTICED her when she started
going after other boys, only tells me he was SO used
to her chasing him that when she suddenly stopped...it
threw him for a loop. Because I know for a fact, when
you're used to someone chasing you and they suddenly stop
and focus on someone else, you don't feel slighted because you
just SUDDENLY realize you're in love, you're just used to
the attention they gave you.
Bottomline is...Hermione would have been more preferable than
Ginny, because, to me, in that Trio, they could relate to each
other more OR if I was the writer I would have given Harry an
Auror career and made him the next Headmaster of Hogwarts, since
that was the first true home he ever had. Who says the hero
HAS to be with someone ALL the time? Plus, if he HAD to be with
someone, I would have introduced him to a character totally
outside of Gryffindor or Hogwarts...period.
Soo, does that give you some type of inkling? :-/

I'm very excited to read about how draco and harry's talk will go! This was a very interesting chapter. That they are actually considering accepting the forced marriage is pretty pivotal. For some reason, I feel as though something suspenseful/dangerous may occur soon. maybe...?
I also enjoyed reading about how harry felt while investigating the crime scene. It's intriguing to see peoples perspective on something so horrid. well, thanks for the quick updates and for taking the time to write so many awesome fics.

I've stuck with this story thus far and I think it's time I left you a review. Every chapter is marvelous and intriguing and ahh, words really can't describe. You've taken a cliche idea and made a fantastic story.
This chapter in particular impresses me. Harry really doesn't want the bond. To me, it's amazing how in-character you keep the cast despite the strange circumstances. It's frustrating as hell that Harry is so stubborn and it's Draco chasing after him, and capitalizing on the whole pity thing... it describes their relationship to a tee. I'm so impressed and impatient for all these issues to be resolved.
Can't wait for the next chapter. :)
