Fantastic! Brought tears to my eyes. I have had two children with special needs. My son passed away at 11 weeks and my daughter is now three and starting school in September! Thank you for bringing some humanity into this!

I've read this story several times and love it more and more. Have you thought of doing a sequel with an older Anjelica? I think it would make a really good story.

Remarkable, once again you live up to your pen name and beyond. This fic was absolutely beautiful. I have a special needs cousin and several friends with special needs children and this was fic was just a wonderful affirmation of their lives through little Anjelica. For all their challenges, there is no human on this planet as loving as a child with Downs, and anyone who ever meets one or is in one's life is truly blessed from the experience. In the HP-verse, no one has special needs and I've never seen another fic to bring these worlds together, yet I cannot think of another situation that would so thoroughly challenge Lucius or prove his redemption from Death Eater to good man more than such a situation. Thanks for sharing this truly remarkable little story. <3

I have read the story that was the inspiration as well as worked for 5 years in a NICU. this story truly captures what is a heart-wrenching situation for everyone concerned. well done, keep up the good work.
