wow... really well written, thank you! You portrayed his reluctance in the first chapter marvelously. Though chapters 2-4 were getting a little tiresome, she fights he wins try to heal black out repeat, i'm glad to see chapter5 is getting a change of pace! what could have possibly happened to Snape? It's preposterous to think he went back to the dark lord and he inflicted the injuries, even if he could without a wand, he wouldn't get away alive. the only thing i can think of is he did it to himself... and i'm really glad she stopped his self-castration if that was what he was going to do.

...you think he would've made an unplottable safe house a bit... better stocked...

Oh please, please more!! I had read this story several months ago and had forgotten about it. I accidentaly came across it again and was pleased to see a new chappie. Since I do not know how to favortie your story or figure out how to get e-mail update alerts it is hard to remember to check in once and a while. You are a great story teller, as a matter of fact as I am typing I realised this story was the first one of Harry Potter's world I had read. YOU got me hooked!! Thanks ~d

Wow, I am utterly gobsmacked. I am not a fan of angst at all..but this story... It's unreal in it's complexity and just sucked me in. And self-flagellation..I did not see that coming. Oh Severus. I'm just..wow. This story is beyond intense, complex and so very, very emotional. I am in awe of it (and you) and can't even begin to anticipate where you will take it. Holy crap... ch. 5 took my freakin' breath away when hermione saw snape like that. This chapter was so beautiful and also disturbing... but it is my favorite so far. I am so looking forward to the next chapter, i can hardly wait. Please update quickly! <3

This is such an intense story. I am really glad to see an update. I have had a craving of dark stories and this is one of the most dark I have read thus far. Sure, other stories may have more violence and whatever in them, but this is haunting. I feel so bad for Hermione.
And Snape whipping himself, reminds me of those monks that whip themselves, not sure what they are called.
I am very curious about the way this story will go.
