I enjoy character / relationship evolution very much!
While I appreciate reading both the present time and Draco-in-exile time, I do find alternating by chapter makes the flow a bit unnatural.
Last but not least, I hope you do continue and complete the story!

I am absolutely enamored with this story! I've spent the last two days reading this and its predecessor and I just have to say how thoroughly impressed I am with your writing style, depth of characters, and intellectual conversations. I will admit the original story is not a favorite... but that is predominantly because I read to escape darkness and angst and lets be honest: the first installment was little but. However without it THIS story would be a bit difficult to jump into, for both are simply so Intense and in depth.
I would wish that everyone who needs someone with whom to talk was able to find someone as perfect for them as the Drs. Roy are for Draco; and that more of those who entered such fields were as honestly desiring to help and heal as the good doctors.
I am adoring the interaction of the characters, particularly the loving sneakiness of Draco's parents. Whatever they have planned intrigues me and I love how you're only giving hints here and there. I particularly am intrigued that whatever they have initiated requires feelings and intent. I look forward to seeing how that pans out.
Must admit that I'm both fascinated and annoyed by the alternating chapters between present and past. The latter mostly because I Want To Know What Happens. Even if the past insights are wonderfully enlightening. I really do love the Roys. Their advice is so sensible and well presented too.

Loved both fics so far! I hope that you continue writing this to the end. I agree with a previous reviewer and am shocked that there aren't more reviews. I've been reading fan fiction for years and this has been one of the best I've ever read. You can't help but care for the characters after the depth that you've gone to develop them.

geez! IT'S ABOUT FREAKIN TIME U UPDATE!!!I thought u weren't ever going to finish it and had given up on it. i really really enjoyed this new chapter. it's nice to finally have gotten alittle more of a hint on what Lucius and Narcissa have been scheming and i like the way the therapy sessions have been helping Draco progress. all in all, as usual, u did a very good job but the update was EXTREMELY slow. i hope all is well in you world and keep up the good work!

I like how you take your time with the characters. You are one of the few, and I mean very few, authors on here who actually seem to care more about character development than plot. Your stories may move slower than most, but they are better written and well thought out, something that others need to learn how to do.
