Draco was pretty great up until the end of this chapter. It was his fault Hermione moved since he didn't warn her he was starting again and then he complains about it. I don't think Hermione meant anything by the torture comment except that it was very painful and Draco made her awful experience all about him. That's pretty darn selfish. I feel sorry for what he's been through, but Hermione is the one going through hell in the present and he was out of line. I feel more sorry for her b/c people she knows may be viewing those photos of her and that's just a further violation. Poor Hermione. I'm looking forward to more!

I like it a lot. A promise of a nice story. I love CSI. Can't wait for the next chapter.
I asked for FF because you could read it from any computer and it's easier to review. But it's true that your situation is not easy.

Merlin! I am so glad she got away, but horrified that she had to go through that in the first place. And, this chapter made me feel bad for him, too. Two lost souls needing healing... I look forward to more really soon. Thank you, HG4eva

Whoa! Way to overreact, Draco. I think he's a selfish shit for not realizing that the feeling of her skin being sliced into felt like (actually IS technically) torture to her, that she wasn't criticizing him as being a death eater but for his expectation that she should be able to not move when facing such pain. If he really does leave a victim of violence and attempted rape to scar because of his own ego and war scars he will have a lot to answer for in his conscience. I know he's not a medical professional, but treating someone who had gone through that sort of thing (and especially one who had gone through torture before from his very own Aunt Bella) is a very callous thing. What he went through was horrible, but it doesn't compare to the victims, sorry.

I'm very curious to see how this ends up, it's very interesting and written really well.

These first chapters are so sad, but I'm looking forward to more! I hope Harry gets back to her soon.

Well, I'd say you're off to an intriguing start. The horror of the scene when the carver is at work and the victim (Hermione) realizes she's going to die is nicely done. You've salted the narrative with several clues, but managed to keep the mystery.

I do have a couple of minor language issues: Hermione would be worrying that she looked "a fright" rather than "affright" and that "pus" was "blossoming" from her eyes (ick!) rather than "puss."

Other than that...I look forward to reading more.

Wow... You're writing this from your iPhone?! Now, that's what I call skill, haha. Loving the story, by the way. A great start.
