Hurry up and update already!!! D:

This chapter upset me. I think Draco is despicable now. If he had come back to Hermione to apologize instead of making her have to find him, when she's in no shape to do so, while being insulted by his ancestor after she's just been brutally attacked, then he could have redeemed himself after the end of last chapter. Instead, he makes her practically beg him to heal her. She is not a bigot. Her feelings about him are based on 7 years of him being absolutely wretched to her, most of which happened before Voldemort returned. When someone has been that awful for that long, they have to prove they've changed and it takes time. He obviously has not b/c he left a tortured woman, whose wounds were continuing to hurt her, to rot. I liked the premise of this story and I was really enjoying it up until the end of the third chapter, but I don't think Draco can redeem himself in my eyes after they way he just acted. And I don't like that Hermione considered herself a bigot. I wish you luck with this and I know others are enjoying it as is. I don't know if anyone else had a problem, but I wasn't able to review this until today b/c the "recaptcha" words were missing.

Oooo I like this! I love stories where Draco is still an ass and slowly warms up because he starts to fall in love with Hermione. In this story I feel like you've made him especially cruel to poor Hermione but I feel like there's part of him that is just feeling insecure because he's not the type of guy to be the bigger person, so as long as he thinks she doesn't like him he's going to be mean to her. I hope you can keep updating fast and not abandon this story like so many authors do. It's also nice to see that alexisrose is your beta can you please bug her to update?

I hope you will take the critiques of the ending of the third chapter as what they are intended to be: constructive criticism pointing out where you've made a false step, not an attack on your work or your worth as a writer. You do have a story with a great deal of potential and you have handled a lot of the (admittedly dark) material you're working with quite well. But I completely agree with those who found Draco's insensitivity to Hermione's pain in that final scene to be too much of an overreaction, one that made him an unlikeable and unsympathetic character. I would recommend revising that part of the chapter. I totally get that you want your audience to realize that Draco has also suffered in the war, and bears his own scars. It's fine if, in a later part of the story, they have a misunderstanding that drives him away. But in this scene, Draco storming out on Hermione when she's just been so horrifically brutalized is not the right way to get those other points across. He comes off as a monumentally selfish little shit not to mention a drama queen, who can dismiss the physical anguish of a torture victim because his feelings were hurt, and it's all about "me, me, me." I hope you will rework this so that our sympathies can be engaged with Draco, again, and we can continue to enjoy the story.

Hmm, so I read the chapters and I read your reviews and I don't think u should change anything I think it's good that Draco has changed but he's still the same too from the books I mean. You said it was a dark story so why does everyone want to like drAco? I'm sure we will like him later on but now I think it's good he's still an ass thAt way he can change and your story can have a character arc. If he was already perfect the story wouldn't be as interesting. So do whAt u want because it's your story I just thought I'd tell u that I like the way it is and inever review so u know I must really like it sofar!

I'm intrigued, can't wait to read more.

I just got done reading all 3 chapters so far and I love this story and I am looking forward to reading more of it and I can't wait to find out who is the Carver and why he killed all of them girls. great job so far. update when you can.
