Nooooo. This cannot be the end. I forsee several chapters of disbelief (sprinkled liberally with slash, BDSM and eventual respect) as Severus comprehends that Harry loves the idea of disappearing.

Option 1) Of course, being oblivated and thrown back to the "wolves" after 72 hours (or 60 now) would be vintage Severus. Harry would not understand his NEED (read instinct) to seek out Professor Snape for "closure". (evil laugh)

Option 2) Acceptance of Harry's true wishes could lead to Harry's lengthy absence and eventual reintroduction to the Wizarding world -- either as himself or "someone new". Just the possibilities of who Severus & Harry's new friends and family would be is mind-boggling.

Does this relationship become monogamous, or a hidden affair or ?. This plot bunny has so many places to go.
