Interesting set-up. I like the story, but you'll need some more work to really wow people. I'd start with spelling and grammar.
I'd also be careful with logic play. Some literary liscense is expected here of course, but if you use too much you should move the story to AU/AR. As it stands, Hermione cannot be Head Girl...she didn't attend her 7th year in Hogwarts, at least not in the canon.
