So what are you planning for snape...maybe have Harry find out he loved Lily and use Tonks ability to mess the shit out of his mind? That would be sweet

as far as lord edgecombe goes i would see him thinking just like any other pureblood. namely that money rules the world due to the fact it is needed to bribe people as well as pay to get blackmail information on people. so i would see him going after the businesses to limit cash flow. but the pruvell family are an old family thought to be dead until now so they likely have old debts owed by other families to them. so when you add in debt plus interest plus penalties you could wipe out a great many families.

as far as harry being to strong i say no, because the way i see it tommy boy can steal magic from his followers threw the dark mark. so for harry to be tom's equal he has to be as strong as tom and all his deatheaters. that would also give a reason for tom being ready for a fight with harry right after his rebirth.an of course since most people would not likely use their full powers often then they would never notice tommy boy leaching part of thier power from them.

as far as tommy boy fearing dumbledore that is a joke. if voldimort feared albus he never would have spend all of harry's first year at hogwarts trying to get the stone, he would have just drained off qurrells life force to get a new body as young tom tried to do to ginny. also young tom did not fear dumbledore otherwise he would have just taken ginny over early in the year and left to a safe place an drained her life force from her. also he would not have sent crouch jr. in as mad eye moody he would have just had someone kidnap harry while in hogsmeade.

now i do not recall if harry is heir to any of the founders or not in this story but i hate it when he is but never uses that power to boot out people like snape.fulsom

I say no extra villain. Just keep doing what you are doing and with Dumbledore being the way that he is, that is a 2nd antagonist.

I don't know why but I think Gabrielle is suited for either Slytherin or Hufflepuff. To add to the slavery thing- Marietta should also do some resisting even though it probably won't be much: have her do some back talking no matter what Ron or Luna do to her.

I'm very looking forward to seeing the coming conflict between Lord Edgecombe and Harry- personally, I'm kind of hoping that it comes to a draw with Edgecombe allowing Harry to be a part of the Wizengamout while Harry frees Marietta as well as never enslaving another against her and her family's will.

Naturally, of course, the rebellion should last for a few chapters before an agreement is reached.
