Wow Harry with Regulus and Rabastan. Didn't see that coming. It seems that Harry is turning into quite the little man whore. However, it was a nice change of pace from who he is usually paired with. Love the relationship between Hermione and Severus. Had to laugh when Severus told her not to call him sweet. Can't wait for more. Well done!!!

Oooooooh - Very fitting end to dear old Bella. Severus's remark about attaching Ron's bits to his forehead made me snort :-)

As for the genocide kerfuffle (how's that for an oxymoron), the events in this plot in no way meet the definition of genocide. It's simply ridiculous to even think it. If anything, this appears to be some form of divine retribution being enacted through occasional possession of a human agent. Gruesome? Yes. Rough justice? Yes? Genocide? ABSOLUTELY NOT! This kind of high stakes moral testing (complete with harsh and even fatal penalties) is a staple of the Western Tradition and can be found everywhere from medieval Grail stories through modern films and and literature (Raiders of the Lost Ark anyone?). Clearly redemption (or possibly even salvation) is readily available to those who truly regret their actions and are committed to moving forward on a better path. You've done a good job with the archtype without sounding preachy - don't let anyone tell you differently. ...Carefully stepping down off the soap box now... More on Sev and Hermione's back story soon please...

I review faithfully, but desperate pleas tend to discourage rather than encourage that. Also, I'd like to provide more substantive reviews, but the brevity of many of your chapters militates against it. Not saying you should make your chapters longer - you're the writer and should do whatever works for you!!! - but that it's tough to draft a meaty review when the chapters are short. So, as for this chapter - makes sense that Harry's a sub. R&R ought to do wonders for him. Glad he's not going to be paired with Draco; it's gets old. What's up with Severus? Still recovering or something more? Impatiently waiting for more explanation on how Hermione and he got together, as well as a Ron beat-down.

Wow... I had to play catch-up with the last few chapters, and I must say I am pretty happy with the way things are shaping up. Aside from a huge "well done!" for your work so far I have a few other comments.

-You've written Ron up to be a complete arse. It's pretty well the way I (and a great many other people, I would venture to guess) have always imagined him.

-I'm very curious to hear more about Hermione and Severus as far as a back story goes. Can't wait to know just how that all came about as I can imagine it may have been a rather interesting story.

-Boy, Harry is something. Clearly the boy has been thinking with his tadger a bit too much. Though I must say that perhaps jumping into bed with Rabastan and Regulus is just what he needs. Two handsome, strapping men to pound some sense into him... I admit to being more interested in this section of the plot line than I should be!

I can't wait to read the next handful of chapters!

This is such an interesting and wonderfully written story. I hope it's going to last more than just a few more chapters. Please no puppies or kittens necessary just more stories.
