Excellent 2nd chapter. I'm happy that the grouchy and thin-skinned professor managed to redeem himself, thanks to Hermione's generous (and sneaky) machinations. I like how you gave deeper insights into all three characters.

This was a good story. But you can't leave us like this!?!?!?!?!
Snape must have an opportunity to make amends. Hermoine deserves to have them both (especially at the same time).
