Thanks for writing this and sharing it. I think it shows really well how an adult would react to being told about the neglectful abuse of someone they know but never suspected was raised that way. And also how an adult who was raised this way would not willingly share those facts with someone else but would make a life for themselves and leave those things behind.

This story was absolutely fantastic, I love the way you portray Harry and Draco when they're older. You capture their characters beautifully well. In fact I'm enormously sad that this story isn't longer, I would love to see how their relationship blosoms from this point on. Regardless, thank you for all your drarry stories, and please keep up the good work. I look forward to the next chapter of Sanctum Sanctorum.

I liked this a lot. The idea of Draco growing up to be compassionate and the attention to the abuse in Harry's childhood.
I did notice one thing... "For one thing, it was far too big for Dursley

OMG WHY do you write tehse fantastic oneshots that I always wish were longer? I want MORE, dammit! More! I want to know what happens next!! arrggh!
I love this. I didn't think I would...but Dudley is fantastic with his biting commments, I always love Draco screaming at Harry (;D) and what I love most is that you connect his characterization, and Harry's, to Canon; you see the potential in Canon, and you grow it into these fanfics. Like Harry being abused by the Dursleys. Like Draco wanting attention from Harry - a psychological thing you could argue sprouted from that first rejected handshake. I love that you take these things in fanfic, that seem small and unimportant in the larger realm of the Harry Potter books - and you make them into these full-blown, deep, fantastic fanfics.
seriously. Kudos to you. I like how you think. I like your dedication to Harry Potter canon; it shows. And I love your innovative ideas.

Wow... that's an interesting turn of event! I hope you will continue this story, I think it clearly makes way for a sequel. In any case, Draco definitely has his work cut out for him.

I liked that you decided to let Dudley come to his senses. I just don't like the thought that parents could corrupt a childs mind to the point that he/she doesn't develop a mind that is capable of making own decisions...
I also liked the fact that Draco had to struggle to change his prejudiced thought. It was a difficult situation and Draco isn't known for his heroics in those circumstances^^ But this time he really took matters into his own hands... Perhaps there can even be a sequel? I would really like to know what Harry told Draco in those meetings. And I already imagine a lemon scene, from Draco's point of view... *starts dreaming*
Please don't take offense, I liked your story and it really got me thinking! And a fan can dream, right?
As always, really good work!
