I almost cried, thinking of the two star-crossed souls trying to reach each other. I can't shake the feeling that this solution is unhealthy, wrong even. She is so young to make such a decision because surely there are other people with whom she could partner. It seems rather sick to be attached to a jealous lover who cannot socialize with anyone else. How difficult it would be to remain sound of mind in such a situation. How tempting to become a recluse it would be...

It's not my favorite pairing, but I very much enjoyed this lovely, dreamy story. Well written, and an interesting concept.
I would enjoy this as a multi-chap, or at least a two-shot, with the second chapter as an overview of her life with him inside the house, and her time outside without him. Her work, friends' reactions, etc.

Wow, what a story. The tone was well set and I throughly enjoyed the view of a Ghost Snape. It would turn it a great multi-chapter story as well
