Congratulations on actually finishing this fic. Far too many of your stories are WIPs, which sometimes seem to be a waste of time unless someone wants to get angry about the missing endings. Next time I run across an unfinished WIP that I've started reading, I'll probably think the first chapter is familiar, that I must have already read the fic, and never start rereading it from the beginning. So, by publishing WIPS you are not only frustrating your readership, but you are cheating yourself out of readers when the fic is complete. Fewer reviews for you. Less joy for the readers. Nobody wins.

Beta wise, the only problem I have with this is with the lack of logic in the climactic scene at the ball. I have no idea why Harry would point his wand at Ron when Snape was threatening to use an Unforgiveable on the guilty party. Seems like Harry would have still thought Snape was a dangerous threat, even if it was a threat to Ron instead of Hermione. So...Harry should have still been aiming at Snape and hoping to disarm him. Tnere is no explanation for why Harry handcuffed Ron and arrested him for a prank, or for why anyone would interrogate Ron about the prank.

Excellent! I loved every part of it. Really appreciated Ron being sent off to jail (never liked him with her-she's too smart). Hermione and Severus are tied with HG and Lucius as my favorite pairings. It was refreshing to find Snape hunting for her and not playing the big and bad guy role once he found her. Your story is great. Thanks for sharing. p

I want to let you know that I completely enjoyed your story. I was actually saddened to see it end so soon. I think also due to the angst in your other work, A different Kind of Magic, I was kinda shocked at the lack of real conflict in this story. Then again, if you had that much angst in one work, I can see how you'd want to go light in a another. I do feel that Ron's additional betrayals were almost thrown in as an afterthought as there was no development of it in the story. I kinda feel someone willing to betray and spy for the death eaters wouldn't really care to much about Hermione getting killed. Granted things aren't always black and white. I do hope you'll continue to write fiction surrounding our favorite dark wizards such as Severus and Lucius. The romance is always steamy and the plots are always interesting and not as straightforward as we first expect. I will constantly be checking, for new works as well as updates. Take care.

I did suspect the twins at first, but I knew that they would NEVER let Hermoine take the blame for them. So I did suspect Ron and at least you gave an answer why.
