I love it. It's something new and not cliche as the rest of the HP fanfic. At first I thought it was going to be corny and pure porno-ish with the Dr claiming to be doing medical treatment but you turned it into so much more. It is very fascinating. I look forward to reading more. I actually want to read about hysteria now. I've heard about it but not in great detail. I'm a psychology major in college. Anyway update soon. I am curious to see where you will take this story!!

I love that she is trying to fight the torturing bastard. The fact that he would remove her uterus and take away any possible children in the future just so he could try out all of the techniques on her like a guinea pig is reprehensible. Will she call sexual assault? She was technically raped, and when the muggles cite physical activity as a viable, non-violating alternative... I wonder how the wizengamot will feel about the fact that healers only explore sexual stimulation as a theraputic method. I mean, if jogging three times a week will do the same job, won't the doctors, Draco included, look like a bunch of perverts? And all of the women in the wizarding world are fully half of the population. Molly Weasley wouldn't put up with this crap. That's a WHOLE lot of people to piss off, and if Hermione can prove that the intent of her torture and forced incarceration ultimately was the chance to twist thingd and subjugate muggleborn then hints of death eater stigma could haunt those doctors for the rest of their lives if they aren't sent to Azkaban.

I love your story. I have a fascination with late 18th century women and their lives. My favorite authors include Kate Chopin and Charlotte Perkins-Gilman and this piece reminds me so much of The Yellow Wallpaper. I really hope you finish and know that you have a fan for your ability to weave that type of content into a new setting.

Love that Hermione is just a bit on the feisty side again. And I love how Harry noticed that Draco was longing for her affection as well. When she said something about Draco being young and good looking, and he whipped off his coat as if leaving his profession behind because it got in his way... It's this kind of thing that shows desire that makes me happy about romance in stories. It's not the vivid descriptions of genetalia, it's the desire and attraction that keep me hooked.
