I am seriously amazed that Ron hasn't figured out whats going on by now. He has his head stuck in the sand doesnt he?

I feel like Harry and HErmione together is too hot to last. That they will burn out and destroy everything around them. Am I right?

After reading moonpoppy's review, I had to review yet again seeing as I'm one of the people who stated the obvious. I do not at all agree that people engage in affairs because they don't have the balls to properly address the issues. That's a blanket statement that doesn't even apply to this situation seeing as how Harry wants to get back with Ginny and Hermione doesn't really want to break up with Ron.

In fact, this chapter deals with that very issue: how Harry is basically using Hermione so he can be a better husband to his wife. So, I doubt he's doing it so he can bring everything 'crashing down around them'.

I never agreed with the assumption that JK considers Ron less than intelligent. No, his qualities don't smack you in the face like Harry's bravery and Hermione's intelligence, but that doesn't make him any less important to the Trio.

As far as Ron forcing Harry to be with his sister, I seriously doubt anyone can force this Harry to do anything. Harry wants to be with Ginny. That's obvious. If he didn't, now would be the perfect time to break things off with her. But... he doesn't. And how is Ron supposed to know that all this crap is happening behind his back? He thinks that they want to be together and he's trying to help his best friend and little sister. So far, Ron hasn't done anything that would make me roll my eyes and say, "Look, Ron. You're pushing this too hard! Stay out of their business and let them figure it out!"

And once again, never really liked how Ron's been portrayed in fanfiction. It's quite unfair to me, he never deserved the 'idiot' label. As far as your last statement, I can definitely agree with that: no one's an angel in this fic. Although I'm beginning to think that Ginny is right and that Harry needs some serious counseling. Lol. And Hermione might need to join him.

OMG! Did not see that ending coming! This is so intense, and exciting, and HOT. That was one of the hottest whippings I've ever read. Love him using the belt, and Hermione acquiescence to it even though she came over there to bitch him out. I love the progression in their conversation and how quickly it shifted. But aside from the hot sex and interaction between Harry and Hermione, I LOVED the way you built tension between Hermione and Ginny. Ginny isn't even aware of it, but Hermione's reactions and feelings are popping off the screen. Again, your characterizations are just amazing, and you have me on edge to see what kind of train wreck this is going to be. Is it bad that I hope Teddy goes and runs his mouth? lol. Brilliant update, as usual.

This chapter was hard for me to read, because Harry really just seems even more sick and twisted. For a time there was the illusion that they were sexually involved because they both needed something they couldn't get at home, some of it mental, a lot of it primal need and expression. In this chapter you've written Harry as though he is just a selfish a-hole, much like my ex-husband and most likely why I found him so repulsive. Even with all of this I'm giving it another chapter to see if I can continue reading your original and well done story.

Second review after reading other peoples thoughts.

People, you're stating the obvious. Of course the affair is going to ruin their personal relationships, but honestly, isn't that why people engage in them in the first place? They don't have the balls to properly address the true issues in the relationship and so they act out in other destructive ways to bring it all crashing down around them.

We all know Ron isn't the brightest bulb and honestly, why JKR thought they should be together is beyond me. That being said, Ron trying to force Harry to be with his sister is the wrong thing to do. No one but the people involved in the relationship know what has actually been going on, and they are the only individuals in the relationship who can judge if its worth saving, if they have it in them. Poor ickle Ronniekins is under the illusion that is often in fanfic, that if he thinks things should be a certain way than everyone ought to do what he says.

I think this story is doing a really good job of showing the various twisted positions of everyone in the story. No one here is an angel, and it's about time people realized that all those things together have impact. It never is JUST one persons fault, it's many things coming together that cause a relationship to get to this point.

This is a train wreck; a car crash waiting to happen. And this lasted chapter just proves why I think Harry and Hermione are being so selfish. Not that he's perfect, but poor Ron! He is trying to help save his sister and best friend's marriage, trying to save his best friend from being fired. And all this is happening behind his back. And Ginny. Oh, Ginny.

I just can't stop reading this story because you've taken a topic (infidelity) that I feel is usually black and white for me (be strong, don't cheat!), but you've made me think more about it. I actually felt badly for Hermione when she found out Harry was still sleeping with Ginny. That's crazy. Part of me is worried for Harry, that he's going to take a darker path.

Put this chapter really hit home because of who the true victims of this will be. The poor kids. Teddy walking in on them! Rose. James. And little unborn Potter. (Al?) When all of this explodes as I have no doubt it will, their families are going to be torn apart. The only good thing is they'll be too young to actually realize it. Oh story. Why can't I quit you?
