I LOVE this. You write the characters so well, and the plot is so realistic. Great work.

First off, how do you make that hungry throat noise with text. Is it 'uhmmmm' or 'hmmmmm'? Neither of those sounds quite right. Oh well.
*hungry throat noise*
This is tasty. I love this slow, soft buildup. Hermione's character is strongly established. Great use of hook at the beginning. I like Harry's guilt, too, and his sense of failure as things with Ginny destabilise. By far the most arresting feature is Hermione's own musings, as she speculates about what's been happening in Harry and Ginny's bedroom.
Love it.
Favourite line:
--My nerves surged just thinking about it, the feeling like rain pattering along my skin. Just what was he like with her when no one was looking?--
Beautiful description followed by a wonderful question.
Please keep building this up. I love it already.

WOO HOO! I found this story by way of SoftObsidian, so thank her for steering me towards it. I have always been a HUGE fan of Harry/Hermione, and this is just... mmmm delicious so far! It's extremely well-written and I can't wait to see what's next. Eagerly awaiting chapter 2. :D

I'm so excited about this! You always get Hermione's voice down just perfect, and I can tell from this first chapter that this story is no different. I love the premise and the characterizations and interactions seem frightfully realistic. So far I feel bad for everyone, but I'm hoping to see just h how wild Harry is in bed, and if that is indeed the problem with him and Ginny. :D Bravo for getting me pumped up for a promising Harry/Hermione BDSM fic. We need more of them!

Gyah. Plot! Complicated plot! The first person perspective works very well for this chapter at least. Seriously good going getting inside Hermione's head.
A couple of Betary notes: Dirk Cresswell was killed off in DH.(Reported Via Potterwatch along with the deaths of Ted Tonks and Gornuk the goblin) and Hippogriff takes an I not a y.
Very intrigued to see where this is going. When you said you were doing a H/HR piece I didn't quite expect it to be so far along the timeline. The kids are going to present a lot of added complications to this.I liked the lines regarding Harry's kids names all being his idea and the weirdness of him using 'Severus' as one of his Kid's names.

Oh, Goodness! I love this fic...absolutely wonderful. You have done a terrific job of painting such a vivid picture of the trio's back round, and you've made everything feel so realistic. Hermione's postpartum depression is so in depth and believable, and something I could actually see Hermione going through. I like that Ron came through for her, he can be a prig, but he usually comes through in the end. And I was so happy to hear your description of Ginny's strained relationship with the trio. I always thought that Ginny must feel like somewhat of an outsider. Harry's characterization is great as well, you did an amazing job of dropping little intriguing tid-bits about Harry's strong and dominant tendencies, as well. One little point I would like to make...the Dementors. Seeing as how they abandoned Azkaban once already, I do not see the Ministry trusting them to take control once again. Especially not with Harry situated in the government. And also, although I absolutely love Guinness (Seriously, it one of my favorite beers) I would expect Harry and Ron to drink a Wizard drink. Like an aged Goblin Mead. Even Butterbeer is slightly alcoholic. Just a thought, Harry and Ron are both familiar with Muggles, so it isn't entirely far fetched that they would be drinking a Muggle beer.
Well, anyway, I really, very much enjoyed this fic, and I can not wait for you to continue. Kudos!
