Your characterisation is dead-on; all in all, a great start to what I hope will turn into an epic-length fanfic. :)

This makes a refreshing change from all of those fics where Harry is a magnificent stud who can almost give his girlfriends an orgasm simply by breathing on them; I'll be looking forward greatly to Chapter 11.

Excellent HP/NT fic, there aren't too many of those around (good ones, that is) and it's always nice to find something new to read that ISN'T written by some sort sugar-abusing idiot with zero grammar, spelling and english skills in general.

I especially like how everything is not sunshine and roses and that there is some actual friction and character development. Also, nice of you to actually include Harry's foul temper. Many fics completely gloss over that Harry has indeed inherited some of his mother's temperament and that he does have the ability to feel resentment and even hatred. Don't get me wrong, I like good!Harry, but sometimes, people take it a bit too far and turn him into a total saint just because.

And the lemons are nice too, I'm man enough to admit.

I do hope that Harry turns down the Headmaster. At the same time Harry should only go to one of the detentions. Just cause Professor McGonagall is upset at him doesn't give her the right to add a detention to make herself feel better. Detention should only be handed out for wrong doings not to make a teacher feel better. I do believe that because of the extra detention then terry Boot should also serve one detention for bad mouthing a teacher, besides his bruised jaw. Fair is fair and if Harry receives a second unfair punishment then so should Terry because that comment should have gave Tonks just cause. I do Wonder when Tonks will being called by her married name and start to force others to call her that as well? Awaiting more.

Excellent as always. Ever considered loading your stories on FicWad or hpfanficarchive? AFF doesn't have author favorite/alert. It's difficult to keep track of updates. Not to mention that you have to fill Captcha for reviewing which puts me off a lot of the time.
