Oh, I loved that chapter! It was a perfectly realistic reaction on both their parts, but I'm so glad that Hermione had the good sense to mail Harry a mobile! Yay, that she talked some sense into him and it worked.

You should be proud of the last section. I thought the heart-to-heart between Tonks and Harry as she held on to him was so tender and touching and just full of win. Poor Harry. I'm glad Tonks is softening up to him now that she realizes he's taken on the guilt for everyone. She could be a very good force in his life.

And Tonks' smart-ass answers to Vernon were awesome. Really looking forward to the next installment. Excellent job, Daye.

i wonder how it goes from here. I bet there will be lots of ups and downs to go around. And how the society will react when their 'hero' and 'chosen one' suddenly gets married. And hogwarts? Will this be another of those fics where they get their own private room where they will be 'lovey-dovey' togehter? Part of me wishes it wont. That kind of fluff really wont work unless there are lots of lemon to go around.

It might have been awkward for all involved, but realistic, which gives the story more bite. You did a great job of keeping them so in character throughout the proceedings. I feel really bad for both Tonks and Harry, at this point, but I liked how you connected them by their
dutiful traits. Tonks expressing that they were both good little soldiers in Dumbledore's army seemed to capture their roles, perfectly, which adds a nice bit of irony seeing as both Harry and Tonks have a bit of a rebellious side to them.

So curious to see how you roll things out at the Durselys next. Wonder what will happen when its time for Harry to go back to school? Is Tonks going to stay with him there, too, or go back to her place?

An intresting and realistic take on forced Hary/Tonks Marriage. Keep it up.

Not quite what I was expecting from the wedding, but I think I like your take better. Tonks was kinda hard on Harry, but it's completely understandable for her to be rather moody and inconsiderate given the circumstances. I look forward to seeing how they deal with the awkwardness. It'll probably take a bit for them to warm up to each other, but I'd think spending so much time in the stifling confines of Privet Drive will help them overcome that eventually. Can't wait to read the rest.

This is a very promising start. I like the Harry/Tonks pairing, and have always thought there weren't nearly enough stories dedicated to them. Tonks/Remus always seemed...wrong to me. Isn't he almost old enough to be her father? Ugh...

Anyway, like the pairing, and like the idea behind the story. Should be interesting to see how things develop between Harry and Tonks within the confines of the hellhole that is the Dursley's house.

i like it i do hope that tonks and harry fall inlove and that they are happy but i also hope that the malfoys get notthing and thatkreacture becomes faithful to harry and tonks yeah want more

I thought Tonks' reaction was hilarious, though understandable. Nice twist at the end. This should be good having them getting used to being newlyweds in the Dursley house.

A quibble, however. It's Wizengamot. And also, you might want to have this beta'd. It looks rather rushed, and I know the quality of your writing/grammar is much higher.

I'm very eager to see how you portray Nymphadora in a more intimate setting.
