Love the idea, Machiavelli's plume, to rewrite history. Looking forward to reading the rest, just had to interrupt to give props for the plot. Love it.

Enjoying the progress, enjoying how 'fast' Hermione is with the repartee. Is it ever going to slow down? LOL

Pity the Child from Chess. Nice, I love a good challenge. I'd like Brownies this time, instead of cookies, if you don't mind. I am in need of a really big chocolate fix right now, thank you very much. On with the story, though, gotta love it when Hermione shows Sirius that she knows him better than he thinks she does.

Thanks so much for writing this story; I am enjoying it very much! I like a bossy, straightforward Hermione and I feel for Sirius who's just had his shield well and truly pierced. :D
And the song is Pity the Child from the musical Chess written by Benny and Bjorn from ABBA. When I was nine, I learned survival / Taught myself not to care / I was my single good companion / Taking my comfort there.

Okay I have to admit I don't know the musical piece but Detachable Penis is a hilarious song!!
Let us not forget what else brought me here and that would be the beginning of another great story.

I do so loathe Molly. Your Hermione is, however, as wonderful and snarky as always. Had to google the review sing-a-long, so won't give it away. Haven't laughed so hard in days! Thanks!

Detachable Penis by King Missile. Not my type of music but a good one to try to stump me...

Great new fic!!! Don't suppose I could convince you our mystery man should be a certain Black who'd been presumed dead, huh? And 'Money' is an excellent choice! Gotta love someone who can jump from Patsy Cline to Pink Floyd without batting an eye :)

Oops, still not signed in. Sigh, I'll get around to it one of these days.
In other news, based on your hint, I'd imagine it's a Pink Floyd song, but I honestly don't know which one. Alas.
Crazy cliffhanger! I thought it might be Sirius at first (sometimes I wish you could post without giving away the pairing but still attracting the right 'shippers', it so biases your reading knowing what the main pairing is!).
Anyway, lovely. I wonder how Bill's curiousity is going to tie in to Hermione's search.
