Lucky Suzuki1969. Congratulations! On the story, I can see where Severus would not ever say those words to anyone, not really knowing much love before Harry. However, at sometime in his life he would need to realize how much saying those words to someone that you do love really means. Harry knows how much Severus loves him but at sometime he will really need to hear the words.

I like both versions of this story, Queen describes how all would feel if Ginny did find out about Harry and Severus, and how Harry is worried about her finding out, and Severus's perfecting a series of stories to tell her to protect both of them. I like Angst's version in how this is from Severus's words to Harry about their relationship from start to present and how he asks Harry in telling Severus that he loves him, does Harry know how much Severus loves him.

oh bloody hell I don't know how you do it but even when Harry's cheating (and I'm definitely a snarry fan and usually an avid ginny basher) you make it seems so reasonable and yet I feel sorry for ginny anyway and then Severus says what he does and I'm back to cheering for the boys, you are just brilliant *hugs*

Interesting scenario. I like that Harry is so conflicted about his relationship, and that Severus is so conflicted about stating the obvious. I still feel bad for Ginny. She's the only one in the house that doesn't know what's going on, and it just feels like such a betrayal to her. Good job of conveying those feelings.

*Sob*. I loved that version. The idea that Harry is watching and waiting for Severus to say something he finds profoundly difficult to accept is just... sob-worthy. I love the first few lines, especially the bit about the "Lily green eyes..." Great job on the response.

THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!!! That was so generous of you!! I loved both chapters. I have to say Angst's was closer to what "I" imagined the situation to be, having said that, I have such a silly soft spot for Severus "the protector" that I can honestly say that both ideas were really brilliant!! And so lovely to read too, but that didn't surprise me at all, after all we are talking about 2 inspired (and inspiring) writers. Again Thank You! so much, and issue as many challenges as you want... I'm planning on winning them all and have as much fun as I had with this one!! :)
