Well... Hmm... I really can't think of anything to say to such a wonderful fic. I mean seriously... I even had dreams about this fic when I had to sleep in the middle of reading it. It was just so compulsive to read it. It truely was amazing.
One of the best things was that Snape was still hidious and they ended up together in the end. This seemed very very real! I can't wait to read your other stories.

This is one of the best stories I have read in a good long time. Your insight into Stockholm Syndrome was amazing, and the rest was sweet and sad. I can't wait to read more by you.

I really enjoyed reading this story, and coincidentally enough you posted the final chapter on my birthday :)
I'm a little sad that it's over now, but I'll check out your LJ stories. Thanks for writing this!

...well.
its an ending i guess.
I just cant help but feel.. a bit dissatisfied with the abrupt and implicit nature of it after everything thats happened. but i guess you're right. its difficult to end a story like this without schmalz. (sigh) It was a great story though!! I've added it to the 'keep' pile. Have you started any others? You did an ambiguous snape well! Perhaps you could write one with lord voldemort? He is a little like the flavor of dark ambiguous snape, but a bit darker.

A good story, but I have to disagree with the whole "LAWS MUST APPLY ACROSS THE BOARD!" thing. No, when laws are UNFAIR to someone or DEMEAN someone else, by saying that they cannot 'handle' something, those laws should be voided. Law is NOT meant to be taken in a vacuum.... it is meant to be taken as the IDEAL and then different situations applied to it.

A most apt pen name.

That is all I have to say...

I think this is the first time I've reviewed (sorry about that), but I've followed this fic since its beginning, eagerly awaiting it every Tuesday. At first, it was just the delicious, intelligent smut that drew me in-- but now, fifteen weeks later, it's much more than that. The smut is just a plus. (That sounds so shallow. :P)

I feel like the final battle could have been expanded -- it seemed abrupt -- but I understand why you didn't spend that much time with it, being that the story is centered around Snape and Hermione. However, if you do a rewrite, I think it'd be interesting to maybe expand on Hermione's life after she escapes, while she's fighting the final battle and such. But anyway, that's not that important, just a random idea.

But yeah, I really enjoyed this chapter. I liked Hermione's question to Snape. It's all so bittersweet, so beautiful. Both characters are so realistic here, and have been throughout.

Thanks for writing this beautiful story. I'm looking forward to the epilogue. If you ever do a revision, I'd be glad to help! (my email is linked above)

This is by far, my favorite story on this site. Period. I'd seen the title hanging around for a while and always brushed by it but something made me stop and read.

I was so enraptured by your writing, by your plot, by how alive Hermione and Snape were... that I've read all 16 chapters in one sitting. (I'll be sorry for it when I get up in the morning but I wouldn't take it back if I had the chance).

I want to honestly say that you have managed to capture the emotion and meaning that so many writers strive for but never reach. I was literally hanging on every word, not wanting it to end and I am so glad (so very, very glad) that I read this. Thank you so much for this wonderful story.
