What a horrible place to stop! I hope you get 20 or 30 reviews at least so you don't get disgusted and quit. I am really looking forward to what comes next. I'd love to know when you update this story.

Hello!
I have this very strange liking for the pairing ever since I read "Sweet Puppy" and therefore I give every story with it a chance. However, it was hard for me to understand your story and get into the plot. Apparently you expect your reader to read a very long introduction where you explain the 'background' before they can read the story itself.
I strongly advice you to integrate any kind of information your reader needs for understanding INTO the text itself. Additional explainations shouldn't be necesssary (Especially NOT in the middle of the chapter - best way to destroy any kind of atmosphere there might have been before) if you do your job right. Interrupting the "flow" should also be avoided unless it's ABSOLUTELY necessary.
I would most probably give this story a second chance if you took my advice to heart, but right now I don't feel so inclined. It's much like watching a movie: Would you enjoy it if you had to listen someone explain the background before the movie started and then stopping it here and then to tell you what this and that scene means? No? I don't, either.
Sorry if this sounds very negative. Just see it as an opportunity to make this a better story.

You definitely have an interesting story here; however you don't have to explain things to your readers quite so much. We'll get the gist of what you're writing about anyway. And if you must do so try leaving it all in a note at the beginning or end of the story. When you put one in the middle it takes the reader out of the world you've built. It's like putting a commercial in the middle of a good part of a movie.

Interesting concept. I think Harry should have asked for extra powers or something. What did he ask for anyway?
