Thanks for letting me know about this. I rather liked this chapter. It showed great characterization of Harry's fear of not being able to control his environment to what he wishes it to be rather than what it is. But I think I liked Draco more because even though he wishes to pursue Harry, he still chose to protect his family instead of leaving things be.

no!!!!! That's absolutely horrible!!!!
Stupid lucius and narcissa for doing that to poor harry! even though they do not know the truth, the outcome was horrible.
so what does this mean for draco? did harry break up with him??
those two are so sad to read.
i really hope the next chapter is happier, i hope they get back together or something!
if it's not, i'm not sure what i'll do. the suspense and the grief of this story is overwhelming.
update soon please. until then, i can't wait.

Poor Harry! And poor Draco!

I understand his parent's urge to know more as they are concerned for their son, but cornering Harry like this must have done so much damage.

I wonder what Draco will do now. His parents will insist on an explanation and even if he doesn't tell them, they will leave no stone unturned, no favour uncalled until they know...

And then how will Harry ever be able to trust him?

I feel like crying.

Brilliant chapter!

man. aw man. Dude... i almost starting crying at the the thought of what Draco had to do and when it was done...it all made my heart hurt. I don't know what harry or draco can do now. But I would love to read your take on what happens. until next chapter.

Hi.

I think I've reviewed a couple of your stories in fanfiction.net, I just wanted to let you know I covet all types of fanfiction that aren't PWP, or that deal with character development very well. I was hoping to learn whether Sympathy for Predators is over, or if you're writing another chapter. I liked chapter 8 but was hoping you'd write one or two more chapters to conclude it.

Very smart to confront Harry with his own protectiveness. Maybe he can see that this does not have to be a bad thing.

I hope he'll be able to talk about his nightmares and make them less frightening. He is determined not to let what happened reign his life for ever - he has taken the next steps, hasn't he?

Brilliant work, as always :)

In one way and the other, we cannot prevent ourselves from hurting others...maybe Harry really need to step down from a protective hen mode and trust others enough that...they can protect themselves on their own, with or without help...this is what friendship is - share...

Wonderful.
& I am quite glad that the story cannot go too quickly, as I very much enjoy reading it (now, and through the meltdowns, I'm sure). Although I am anxious for (steamy!) development as much as the next reader/hpdm fan, I am certain that it will be worth it.
I enjoy the realness of it all, and wouldn't want to rush it at all. Can't wait for more.
