What an original and thought provoking premise for a story!

This looks like it has the possibility to become an epic, so I hope that you will find the inspiration to continue it.

Grammar and spelling seem to be excellent, although plotwise, I would have liked just a little more of the nurse's motivations; was she just bored by all this ministry mandated routine? Does she have a quota to fill and paperwork to do? Is she quietly upset because although the child was a dark scion, she was still taking a newborn from it's mother or proud of herself?

Ugh, no wonder the wizarding world is having problems, It's well known (in canon) that all of the pureblood lines, light and dark, are related one way or another. Think of the unknowing consanguinuity... *shudders*
