WOW seems so.... not enough.... but... wow...

Still makes me all weepy and such.

Wow, just great. There is so much to love about this story, and so much to be frustrated about. I do see Severus as a person who punishes himself much more than he deserves to be punished. Ron's role is agonising, once it becomes clear in the narrative. I felt for both of them.

I am not a fan of Bottom!Severus, nor of a submissive Severus, nor even really of this pairing, so I'm not even sure why I clicked on this story....probably only because you are the author....

Having said that...wow. At first I thought the kink was Ron's; that he somehow got off on giving the "Greasy Git" what he saw was his due, now that he had him bound and helpless, but at some point during the story I began to suspect the kink really was Severus', and that kept me intrigued. Again, even though I am not a fan of Bottom!Severus, I can see/understand how a man like he would crave the abuse and humiliation...the things he was required to do during the war and as a servant of two masters, his years as a spy, being forced to kill his mentor...his internal agony over these things must be more than he can bear, and he would never feel he'd been punished enough for the life he'd lead and the things he'd been forced to do. I particularly liked the way you depicted Ron's own agony and helplessness with the situation. Like Severus killing Dumbledore because of a promise, Ron is also trapped in a like promise. The irony of which seems to be lost on Severus. Well done.
