aaargh.. I love this story. and every time you post a new chapter I'm overjoyed and simultaneously saddened because it means I'll have to wait for the next one. I know that I need to be a more patient person.. all good things come in time and so on.. but its so hard with writing as good as yours. I look forward to your updates.

Still, thank you very, very much for this Christmas special, it's a witty and also touching interlude. They will have to part someday I guess, huh? Or can Hermione stay in the past and make a new future (pretty please)? LOL Though truth to tell, I'd actually prefer a bitter-sweet ending for once, while happy ends give you great immediate satisfaction, you forget about the whole story rather quickly. Whereas an undesired ending...well, let's just say I'm still mad at the creators of Death Note that they made Yagami Light lose and die...and I watched the anime 2 months ago. Or an open ending would be nice, too... gosh, I really should write my own fic and stop badgering other authors. Sorry! :)

Thanks for the Christmas present! I honestly read the part in which Dream!Tom calls Hagrid "Dad!" about five times, while repeating "wtf" to myself. The bit about McGonagall proclaiming that she will kill everyone, while wearing fuzzy slippers and a flowery cape was.....pretty much priceless. I'm sad to say I do not have any noteworthy captchas today *sigh* In regards to the bomb killing the trolls....the wizards would have totally had time to do a shield spell......yeah.....ahem.

Yes.....I am most definitely finished with finals....what a hellish ordeal that would have been if it had not been the case! I hope you do update prior to New Year's (the one on the 31st!)

Yay! This chapter made me happy. What a wonderful Christmas present! Although I do believe that Hermione may need to avoid eggnog in the future, because the liquor was definitely messing with her dreams. I wonder how Hermione's dad would actually react to Tom. I bet Hermione's dad wouldn't be too thrilled with any boy dating his precious only daughter.

Well, that was a cliffhanger!

IDK if I would care about using dark magic in front of a stranger if I were Tom and I knew I could Obliviate him later. Then again, I might just kill him later instead and save myself the trouble of explaining how a wizard lost to trolls ended up with a memory charm when trolls can't cast hexes. O.o

So, how long was the wait between when Tom slammed Hermione into the door for the second time and when she finally opened the door to her friends? LOL.

I love action sequences, although it's frustrating not knowing if Dumbledore or Riddle saved the day in this instance. The troll cave reminded me of a scene from the film The Ghost in the Darkness about man-eating lions. I'm eager to discover what Riddle's plans are for Hermione and the others once they return to Hogwarts!
