...and what business is it of Lucius that he had to be there??? O_o

I'm glad to see/feel there 'seems' to be a type of balance with
what it is Harry has done opposed to how it COULD have turned out
if he had gotten deeper into necromancy.

Of course, once you've done something that affects your total being
of COURSE there will be repercussions of some sort.

Hmmm...

If there WAS a way to balance Necromancy with Auror skills, then
there would be a secret division in the Ministry that no one else,
but an elite few, should know about. Now, that would be a twist in
the story. :-)

As a matter, that WOULD be something different in a Harry/Draco story
about Aurors. It may seem far-fetched but, hell...it IS fiction.
What do you think?

You are doing a third installment right?

Harry's right they were chicken sH!+ when it came to fighting Nihil but they'll go after Harry because he's still a trainee. On the other hand he took of Voldermort, he should be getting more respect or at least people should be smart enough not to threaten him.

This reminds me, although it is in no way related, to a story in which Harry could see the dead and sort of command them after coming back from platform 9 3/4. I remember he could identify killers by seeing their hands. Anyway I'm thinking after this Harry will have some kind of visible mark that says 'I've been a bad wizard'.

First...damn! That was some exciting s***! :-)
...and it's weird to see Draco in charge of the group, especially
when you're so used to Harry being in the forefront. But, I guess
this little role-reversal is a little prerequisite [sp?] of things
to come...in another story?

Second, the Return of Parseltongue [sounds like a story], what a
twist!!! Finally, someone found another use for Parsel language
than seduction, not that seducing someone in that language is
boring, because it isn't. ;-]

Third, if I didn't know better I would think Ventus DID have some
connection to Nihil, not that she wasn't creepy enough.

...or just on drugs.

Fourth, got a bad/uncomfortable feeling while reading that last
paragraph that Harry might...MIGHT...think he can do Necromancy
after all, as long as he doesn't succumb to it and remember who he
is to the people who care for him. Have some type of anchor.

I believe that Parseltongue put a new twist in it for him.

Besides it got me thinking, if you did make a Necromancer, would he
have to live a lonely or solitary life?

Just an idea that popped in my head..and you know me and my ideas. :-)

I liked the way you put Harry's ability to speak parseltongue in this story. Parseltongue is clearly a powerful magical language. So spells in parseltongue should be more powerful than spells in English or Latin.

Ch30: What?!? The Glamour acted as if the ritual was real? Necromancy without the dead?

*points at author* Hah!!! I KNEW it!!! I knew there was something
off about Dearborn, but yoooouuu tried to be misleading!

Now, matter how you tried to throw folks off, there was
STILL something about him that didn't sit right with me!

Now, that healer, there's something screwy about her, too.

ANYway, glad SOMETHING good came out of Harry using that damn
necromancy....the idiot.

By the way, glad to see Flame FINALLY and is Nasquam[?] going
to be mentioned soon and the third one who's name I forgot.
