If I haven't said it already, I'll say it again, this I feel is one of your best stories yet. Your writing always improves so much with every story, it's amazing. And I love the plotidea of this one.
Hmmm... interesting... the way Snape is acting. I wonder if you're keeping to canon with his "I killed DD on his orders and am really on the side of the Order". "even if she could never forgive him for killing Dumbledore, she found herself not so bothered by him as she had been." - And you make sure Hermione doesn't just overlook that he killed the Headmaster or was never nice to her in Hogwarts, but give her a reason for not being so bothered by him, now. Kudoos for that.
