wow. ......okay had to just let that sink in. when i read your stories i don't look forward to the smut because i know that you won't write unless it works with what you're trying to achieve in the story. but i am pleasantly surprised when you do because the experience produces a plethora of emotions, realizations and spectacular moments that have just been forever captured in your writing. i have to say this was one of the better scenes. the sex was slow going but not agonizing more sensual and coupled with a very good plot. in short amazing and no position issues this time. ;) VIVA!

I have read just about everything H/D you have written here (and on Hex), but... occasionally, I do like a little Lucius, so... gave this one a try. You kept me up about two hours after my bedtime because I had to read it in it's entirety, and am now waiting eagerly for the rest. I love your Lucius, and I can't wait to see how this plays out once he gets back home with Harry. To see whether things move along with them, or... if Harry gets all... flustered and runs away for a bit longer. Anyway, I love it so far, and am excited for the rest.

Of all the glories in this chapter, it was Ron's short appearancethat struck me the most. Now remember, I am as much a fan of villifying Ron as anyone, but I particularly loved this incarnation of Ron. He felt a bit like Samwise Gamgee. (From Tolkien, not your character.) I quite liked that. It was a truly pleasant surprise. I like that Draco is not feeble and weak in this simply because he is the aggressor and not the suitor. I also love that that does not make him evil.

Love the almost eligiac tone of Lucius' thoughts after Draco attacks him. This is a beautiful, if rather odd, piece. It's always a treat when you update. Thanks!

I like your stories, because they always make me think. I'm glad Lucius is having to work for Harry's attention.

Harry's vanishing of the owl's claws in ch. 5 ruined this story for me. It's just too cruel (in general and for Harry in particular) to do this to an animal that only followed orders and which he easily could have held off with lots of other protective spells. An owl without claws can't ever sit down again and eventually has to die. And having to read Harry's derisive sentence after that makes me just angry. I could never sympathise with such a person.
Needless to say that I'm disappointed. :(

again not fond of this pairing but this elegant game of graceful maneuvers and well articulated attacks are so intriguing. i want to talk to this version of lucius simply to test myself against his skill of stimulating conversation and see how i would fare. i know i wouldn't win but the chance to improve my own skills would be a sweet treat. i find that you often set harry's stubbornness against him especially when it comes to denying himself. do you really see him as still doing that after the war? or do you think he would have finally learned that there is no need for him to sacrifice everything of himself? or do you think that someone would have to help him learn that lesson? wish you would share your writing skills with me. til next time. viva la vida!

Soooo need chapter 7!!! Sounds like someone in the Weasley family needs to talk to Harry!
