I thought it was beautiful. And who is to say that it's out of character? It explains his beahvior towards other people, and they were good reasons. I thought it was way better than, "I was a spoiled rich kid and life was perfect and then one day, out of the blue, my father turned on me and now here we are." Don't sell yourself short, I really liked the chapter and I have really enjoyed the fic! Can't wait for more! Congrats on the puppy and the family arrival! Happy Holidays!

Wow! Just found this story and I absolutely LOVE it! I love how you haven't got them just immediately jumping into each others' arms and are actually taking their grief into account... Very real... very intriguing! Can't wait to see more!
