In response to the question about ff.net - I have posted some stories there, but I find the process isn't simple and gets quite complex, so I have given up. But you can read everything here, so Yay!
I've had experience with story posting at five sites, and would rank ffnet at the second easiest, after Portkey - I used to ship HHr before realizing Harry would bore Hermione's pants on (sic) after six months of decent shagging. Some people do get confused with tasks others find simple *and vice versa*. Meat, Poison, etc. But that's not the point.
The point is this. What do you admire most about Severus and Hermione? Yes, they're smart and intellectual. But more important, they are determined and persevere despite the odds. Hundreds, perhaps thousands, of people would read your fic at ffnet - people who would never come to the other sites where this story is posted. (Warning: Snapeness coming up.) If you have opposable thumbs and a brain more developed than that of a hebetudinous hedgehog, then perhaps you should cease your incessant whining and get over this minor obstacle :-)

Great start to this story am enjoying it. Especially love the fact that they can share a bottle (or two) of wine and not talk.

Wonderful!
Your story makes me feel very much in tune with your characters and oddly at home. British Gas debiting twice, eh? I'll have to watch that ;) I love when a writer knows their UK. It is kind of comforting to read about things like bin liners. LOL
I hopw Hermione and Snape will find some peace in each other - and maybe more?

You do weave a beautiful tale. It is such a common practice to sit with someone to watch a show. Yet you have managed to make it so monumental without it being heavy. The fact that Severus has noticed the draw he has to her fist is so very him. I'm not sure what to make of Hermione yet she seems melencoly and manic but not (Does that make any sense?). I'm sure we will see what her take on the situation at hand is soon enough. I am wholly enjoying your story. Well done!!!!!

When I saw a new story from you, I wanted to squeal and flap my hands in an extremely ridiculous manner (don't worry, I quelched the impulse as difficult as it was.) You are truly one of my favorite Hermione/Severus shippers and I always feel throughly debauched after reading one of your stories. I hope this one will be no different! Look very forward to more!!

This is a Snape/Hermione plot I haven't seen a lot of. I like how your Snape is awkward and stiff and cranky, and how Hermione's Muggle heritage is such a big part of the story. So often it gets ignored or it just doesn't come up in various plotlines. Seeing someone explore it like this is cool. Nice work.
