Hah! You portray Snape so well. He's an intelligent man but becomes a total idiot when he's in love and can't stop his instant jealousy, even when there's no one to be jealous of. If he'd had some common sense and trust, he'd not be in this situation. *Shrug* story of his life, after all. Please, do continue soon! I want to see his reaction when he meets the baby and finds out he's his child!

I hope he truely feels like an ass after all is said and done. How can he think that she is still playing happy family with another man. Although as pig headed as he is and with Minerva taking up all his spare time I would imagine he wouldn't have the proper time to really mull things over. Thank you for all the quick updating. I just love the development of this story, it is just my kind of story! I do hope though that you won't let Severus get off that easy; He is the one to blame for Hermione leaving in the first place, he and his stupid jelousy and lack of trust in her. She did tell that she was pregnant, that he has chosen not to read the letter aint her fault. While I won't claim Hermione to be flawless, she would be terribly boring if that was the case, I won't like to see her beg forgiveness for Severus wrongdoings (that happens way to often in fanfics). Severus got issues, but that doesn't give him carte blanche to hurt others, it is about time he take a long good look at himself and really see what a git he has been and then proceed to beg Hermione for another chance to earn her love and trust.

The suspense...when will they meet again? And what will Severus think of the baby? Can hardly wait.

A lovely example of SS/HG done right. I read few of these generally, but you manage to keep it, mostly DH compliant and perfectly reasonable, especially with Hermoine being an adult when the relationship starts. I love what you've got so far, and I hope you'll get more of the story up! I want to know if Snape finally realizes Hermoine has been, and seems will always be, his alone, and that he's a father, lol! Nice work. Please post soon!

Great 2 chapters. Can't wait to see Severus and Donovan meet! Is their meeting (possibly by accident at the cottage or in the village) going to be when Severus figures it out or will Hermione have to tell him before hand?

Great chapter, on tenderhooks as to how Severus will react when he finally catches up with Hermione and Donovan. Brilliant writing as per usual, sorry for my lack of reviewing but I normally catch up on my mobile and the connection is far too slow if you need to review on there.
